Mary Kate Wilson(NR'05)Jr CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Daemen forward Mary Kate Wilson is the AMC women’s basketball Player of the Week for games played on Jan. 7-13. Wilson, a 5-foot-11 junior from East Aurora, N.Y., posted back-to-back double-doubles to average 22.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game in two victories for the Lady Wildcats. Wilson totaled 19 points, 11 rebounds, four steals, and three assists in a 97-51 win versus Maine-Fort Kent. She added 26 points and 14 boards in a 79-61 victory at Malone in the AMC North Division opener. For the week, Wilson made 57 percent of her shots from the field overall and hit 4-of-7 three-pointers for 57 percent. She was 9-for-10 at the charity stripe to go along with five steals, four assists, and a blocked shot for Daemen, 10-5 overall. Mary Kate is also 8th in the NAIA nationally in Dbl/Dbls with 9.
