Daemen(22-7) Sarah Bogardus(NR'05)Jr, Sarah Saroka(NR'05)Fr, Mary Kate Wilson(NR'05)and Bridgette Burke(NR'07)Fr lost in the Conference finals, they are17th Nationally in the final poll, NAIA D II. They will get an at-large bid to the national tournament.

Div III

Dİouville (22-5) Holly Beats(NR'06)Fr  was the MVP of the NEAC Championships last weekend with 45 rebounds and 26 points playing 75 minutes of the two games. D'Youville earned a NCAA III tournament bid.

 

Medaille(25-2) Sara Bukas(NR'04)Sr, Kacie Mills(NR'07)Fr, Mandy Sahhar(NR'07)Fr and Amanda Boron(NR'07)Fr) also earned a NCAA III tournament bid winning the AMCC regular season and conference tournament.

Allison Boehm Named Academic All-American details

Div I

Manhattan (14-13) Kelly Regan (NR'05) played Meg Dahlman of Marist and formerly Naz nearly to a draw 14-16 in a 71-61 loss. Kel also had 14 vs Iona in a Nationally telecast ESPNU game.

 Cornell (17-6, 9-1 in the Ivy) Shannon Scarselletta(NR'05)Jr  is averaging 5.5 pts and 3.3 reb in 20 min per game.

Hofstra (4-22) Christina Biedney(NR'05) is avg 3.7 pts and 1.4 reb in 10 min per game.

Colgate (1-22) Kendra Brim(NR'06)Fr is avg 2pt and 2 reb in 9 min per game. Kendra did get her first start.

Mary Kate Wilson(NR'05)Jr CEDARVILLE, Ohio - Daemen forward Mary Kate Wilson is the AMC women’s basketball Player of the Week for games played on Jan. 7-13. Wilson, a 5-foot-11 junior from East Aurora, N.Y., posted back-to-back double-doubles to average 22.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game in two victories for the Lady Wildcats. Wilson totaled 19 points, 11 rebounds, four steals, and three assists in a 97-51 win versus Maine-Fort Kent. She added 26 points and 14 boards in a 79-61 victory at Malone in the AMC North Division opener. For the week, Wilson made 57 percent of her shots from the field overall and hit 4-of-7 three-pointers for 57 percent. She was 9-for-10 at the charity stripe to go along with five steals, four assists, and a blocked shot for Daemen, 10-5 overall. Mary Kate is also 8th in the NAIA nationally in Dbl/Dbls with 9.

Sarah Bogardus(NR'04)Jr is leading the Conference in scoring (22.7) (4th in the NAIA nationally) and the team in shooting percentage(52).

Sarah Saroka(NR'05)Fr is leading the Conference in blocks (61) (5th in the NAIA nationally),  the team in steals (29) and rebounds (avg 10)  while averaging 15 points. Sarah is also 6th in the NAIA nationally in Dbl/Dbls with 10.

Bridgette Burke(NR'07)Fr is up to almost 20 minutes a game, averaging 9pts and 5 reb.

For the fourth time this season, St. John Fisher College’s Allison Boehm  has been named as the Empire 8 Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.  I a 1-1 week for the Cardinals, the senior captain averaged 24.0 points, and 9.0 rebounds, while adding three blocks, three steals and two assists in the two Empire 8 Conference games

Kelly Regan (NR'05) Manhattan (8-6) is back from an injury and scored 16 against Villanova.

the American Midwest Conference in scoring and just scored 35 at Gannon this week to put her over 1,000 as a junior.
