Coaching Duties Include:

Pre Season

    1) Supervise tryouts.

    2) Help select team from player pool. Teams should have 9-11 players. 1-2 alternates are possible at reduced fees. Player selection should be coordinated between the various Rapids teams for the good of the Club.

    3) Forward complete roster information to Club for AAU registration. Provide player number and uniform size information for uniform order.

    4) Choose tournaments with confirmation from parents.

    5) Monitor player fee payments. Follow Club rules regarding fair pay / fair play.

    6) Enlist parents for the various volunteer positions.

    7) Run practices

    8) Give news updates to Club

In Season

    9) Monitor tournament game schedules

    10) Run practices

    11) Coach games ( finally)

    12) Give news updates to club for website

Post Season

    13) Collect uniforms if needed, communicate Club party info to team.

The Club supplies each team with the following equipment. The  equipment is Club property and should be returned at the end of the season.

    6 -TF-1000 basketballs, 1 Slip-Nott, filled, 1 Case of cold packs,  2 Scorebooks, 1 Basic medical kit, 1 Ball pump, 1 Eraseboard Clipboard,  2 Niagara Rapids Coach Shirts
