Blue Chip Fall Ball Results

16s were 2-2 in Philadelphia last weekend. They were cool under pressure winning both the close games. The two loses were against excellent teams that were clearly stronger. One of the loses was to Teamworks of NJ who were the USJN Bronze Division Champions last July. It was great to get a chance to play against such fine opponents.

Rapids 16s were 3-2 at US Jr Nationals last weekend.  A last second over-rule from midcourt (and behind) on Mandy Sahhar's winning drive, put the foul on the floor and wiped out the basket and our trip to the playoffs !  We lost by 1 and 6 in a good pool that lacked a monster, but had several solid teams.  Numerous College Coaches watched the well played game as the Rapids and the Huskies showcased the abilities of several players on both sides. 160 teams from across the country competed at U of Maryland, American University and Hoops Magic of VA.

 Quiet Period Aug 1nd to Sept 15th, Contact Period Sept 16th to Oct 6th.
