Sectional Champion HS team Lead her team

to a 21-2 record.   Leading scorer - 302 pts,  Leading rebounder - 206, Leading shot blocker - 54,  Class A1 Championship game - 21 pts, 14 rb, 5 bk, 10/12 from the floor, 1st Team All ECIC, 1st Team Big 30 Independant- All Stars, 3rd Team All Big 30 ,  Honorable Mention All-WNY, Pioneer CID-All- Tourney team

As a 9th Grader: First Pioneer Freshman to receive MVP award. Lead her team in points (405-20.25 avg), rebounds (312-16.5 avg), blocks (74) , steals (56) and 2nd in assists (48).  Joelle had 2 triple/doubles and 16 double/doubles in 20 games. She hit 13/13 FT vs Lancaster. She was the CID Tourney MVP, Hutch tech Tourney all-Star, 1st Team-Big 30 Allstar, 1st Team ECIC All-Star, Big 30 "Laura Hughes-Kopp" Scoring leader award, 4th Team All-WNY

2005 AAU  2005 Gym Rat Challenge Tournament Team Honorable Mention in the 16s bracket. Super Regionals, Buffalo-Called the best player in the tournament by Premier Hoops(Pitts,PA) 15s Coach after 21 pts & 17 reb in the finals.

Pioneer freshman makes fourth team  (All-WNY)

Joelle Connelly, Pioneer (20.3 ppg, 15.8 rpg): Exciting, talented freshman who works hard at both ends. She had 27 points, 16 rebounds and 10 blocks in a game against Williamsville East. She has good lineage as her mother, Debbie, played at St. Bonaventure from 1986-1989 and her aunt is former WNY scoring leader Laura Hughes-Kopp (Franklinville). (Penn State)
